This quarter our Sunday School Theme is JESUS' FULFILLMENT OF SCRIPTURE
The purpose of the spring quarter is to explore connections between Jesus and the Hebrew Scriptures.
Each of the three units approaches this relationship from a different perspective.
Lessons for MARCH - This is a five-lesson study. Lesson 1 studies the narrative of God's promise of a Davidic line that would sit on the throne forever. Lesson 2 looks at Matthew's Gospel as an interpretation of how God fulfills this promise in the birth of Christ. In Lesson 3, Peter's message on the day of Pentecost gives witness to Christ as God's promised Messiah. In Lesson 4, the scene takes place in the heavenly court of John's vision, where Christ is seated; the Lamb of Judah is on the eternal throne. Lesson 5, open with the story of Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem.
